Court of Pakistan ordered no to Release of American Diplomat Suspect

Islamabad : The U.S. Embassy  has argued that the American, who has acted in self-defense when he shot the two men in Lahore last Thursday because they were trying to steal him at gunpoint.
Pakistani court ordered the government Tuesday not to release an American official arrested.
Question raise by the legal experts that  whether the court had the authority to issue such orders.
